NoPa - New Partnerships: Context, Objectives and Lines of Action
CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel) plays a key role in expanding and consolidating post graduation programs (Master’s and Doctor’s) in all Brazilian states.
The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) develops the guide-lines and the long-term strategies of the German development policy. For the execution of its projects it commissions implementing organizations. These organizations work with executing agencies in the partner countries, which are selected by the government of that country.
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is a non-profit association whose members are 231 higher education institutions and 125 student organizations in Germany. It promotes international relations between higher education institutions in Germany and their counterparts abroad, offering several scholarship and research support programs.
Working in partnership GIZ, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, promotes international cooperation which contributes to sustainable development. Founded in 1.1.2011 GIZ brings together the long-standing expertise of DED, Inwent and GTZ.
